Investments of this amount are worth submitting a file to Greek Development Law or other Community programs such as the NSRF, with subsidies of 45% to 70% and a minimum investment capital of 25%.

The operation of these units is based on the transfer of know-how offered by a franchise model, but without the franchisee/investor's obligations!

 

Our goal is to make these units a smart, profitable and innovative investment. Its innovation on one hand lies in the modern, ecological way of building the units and on the other hand, the exciting atmosphere, elegance and comfort offered by Eco Boutique Hotels, whose design is based on the satisfaction of high demands of customers/visitors. Location of construction can be any site that the investor wishes, seaside, mountainous or lowland, in Greece or any other country.

 

This proposal is addressed to both individuals and companies. The individual/company that will be responsible for the operation of the Eco Hotel will play a leading role. A strong network of contacts in Greece and abroad will be used at the beginning for advertising purposes. The Greek network will be an initial "reservoir" of local contacts, including local authorities and other organizations.

    Subsidies are granted to all legal entities, but not the individuals. 

    The percentage of the subsidy depends on the program, the size and the location of the company. 

    Usually, the subsidies are higher on border areas.

It is noted that a particular feature of our investment proposal is that it can also be addressed to a group of investors. In that way the minimum risk of taking up the new investment is "broken down" and the payment of the initial capital is distributed to more than one investors. Therefore, the investment scheme beyond the key investor -which will be the main financier of the investment- will consist of:

 

  1.  the person who will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel business ("hotelier") and
  2.  the "landowner"

 

The ideal scenario is for the landowner to be also the hotelier or the investor.

 

The benefits are obvious: the initial capital does not need to be paid by a single investor, while the existence of the hotelier in the owners' team gives experience and market knowledge to which the investment group intends to enter. At the same time, the hotelier being in the owners' team guarantees the more responsible and effective operation of the hotel than someone who would just be an employee. At the same time, the involvement of the landowner, on who's land the Eco Boutique Hotel will be built, will result in no capital outflow for the purchase of the premises, which is particularly important at the start of the business. The above ownership scheme, investor - hotelier - landowner, may further minimize its business risk if it can integrate the investment under a Development Grant Scheme (and therefore receive a grant that may rise up to 45%) or if can secure bank lending.
